Frequently Asked Questions
No, you can start a Free Trial without entering any payment details. When the trial ends after 28 days, you decide if you want to continue. If yes, we will ask you to switch to a paid plan. If not, your access simply ends.
Setup takes about 5 minutes. Download it directly from the Chrome Web Store, create a free account, and you’re ready to go. If you prefer, we can guide you through it in a short onboarding session. You don’t need admin rights in your issue tracker, just permission to install a browser extension in any Chrome-based browser. Product Copilot is visible only to you in Jira and Confluence, not to your entire team.
A user is one person with access to Product Copilot and their own individual access key. A team is a group of users on the same plan. Up to 10 users can join one team. The Free Trial can also be used by multiple users from one team or company.
The Individual plan is built for freelancers or single users who want to use Product Copilot even without team members. The ideal setup, however, is working as a team, because Product Copilot fits naturally into team workflows. In a Team plan, setup and running costs are shared across several users, which makes the cost per user lower.
At the moment, we only offer annual billing. This keeps pricing simpler and covers the setup work we do on our side.
Your data is never used to train AI models. All data is processed on servers in Germany. Product Copilot uses OpenAI models, but your information stays private and secure. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available.
Think of it this way: every minute of your team’s time is expensive, and there’s never enough of it. Product Copilot saves you time in two ways. First, it automates busywork like writing tickets, cleaning up backlogs, and searching for information in your wiki or issue tracker. Second, it reduces the high costs caused by unclear requirements. In many software companies, unclear requirements and miscommunication repeatedly lead to lost time, rework, and wasted budget. Product Copilot provides clarity for your team. Teams already using it confirm that they save a lot of time this way — and when you translate that into costs, the value becomes obvious.
